PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 19 October 2026 · Publisher: Nerone
In short
- No accounts, no email, no contacts, photos or location access.
- Coins, store items and settings stay on your device.
- Only your leaderboard entry (handle, scores, device ID) is sent to our server.
- No ads at all until you choose to turn them on. No analytics in the app. No in-app purchases.
- The website only counts anonymous visits, with no cookies.
- We never sell your data.
Who we are
Tap Swipe Spin is a mobile arcade game for iOS and Android published by Nerone (“we”). This policy covers the game and this website.
Data kept only on your device
Your settings (music, sound effects), best scores, coin balance, the store items you own and equip, your daily-reward streak, tutorial progress and your ad choice are saved on your device only. We cannot see them. Coins are a virtual reward earned by playing; they cannot be bought and have no money value. Deleting the app deletes all of this.
Data sent to our leaderboard
When you finish a game while online, the game sends to our leaderboard server:
- Player handle: the name you pick (or the auto-generated one, e.g. PLYR1234).
- Game mode and best score.
- Device identifier: an app-scoped ID from the operating system (identifierForVendor on iOS, the Android ID on Android). It is only used to keep one leaderboard entry per device. It is not the advertising identifier.
Your handle and scores are public: everyone can see them in the game and on this website, so please don’t use your real name. The device identifier is never shown. The leaderboard is hosted by Supabase. Entries are kept while the leaderboard runs, or until you ask us to delete them.
Advertising (only if you opt in)
The game shows no ads and makes no ad requests until you say yes to the “extra lives” offer that appears after a few games. Only then does the game show the consent form (in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) and, on iOS, Apple’s tracking permission prompt, and start loading ads. All ads are rewarded ads that you choose to watch, to continue a run with an extra life or to get +50% coins.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information, your IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and, where you allow it, the advertising identifier, to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, with your consent, personalise ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
Your choices: on iOS, Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android, delete or reset your advertising ID in your device’s Google/Ads settings. Your consent choice is stored on your device; deleting and reinstalling the app clears it, and the game will only ask again if you accept the extra-lives offer again. You can also email us at any time.
Technical data
Like any internet service, our providers (Supabase for the leaderboard, Vercel for this website) receive your IP address with each request and may keep it briefly in server logs for security and reliability. The game engine, Unity, may collect limited technical diagnostics (such as device model, OS version and crash data) under the Unity privacy policy. Apple and Google may share anonymous app statistics and crash reports with us through their app stores, and they handle the in-game “rate this app” prompt themselves.
This website
This website shows the game, a version of it you can play in your browser, the public leaderboard and these pages. It uses no cookies, no advertising and no tracking across sites.
Visit counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages, countries, browsers and devices our visitors come from. It sets no cookies and stores no IP address; a visitor is recognised only by a temporary code made from the request, which is discarded within 24 hours. We only see totals, never individuals.
Browser game. When you play in your browser, your coins, store items, settings and best scores are saved in your browser’s storage on your device, only so the game can remember your progress. We cannot see them, and browser scores are never sent to the world leaderboard. This progress can be lost if you clear your browsing data, use private browsing, or (in Safari) don’t play for about 7 days. To keep your progress, play in the app.
The App Store and Google Play badges are loaded from Apple and Google, so they receive your IP address when the page loads.
Children
The game is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has put personal information in a player handle, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
You can change your handle at any time from LEADERBOARD in the game. You can ask us to access or delete your leaderboard entries by emailing us your player handle. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to object, to ask for correction or restriction, and to complain to your data protection authority. We process leaderboard data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a public leaderboard, and personalised ads only with your consent. Our providers may process data outside your country with appropriate safeguards.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
